I spent years being the person everyone relied on but few people noticed.

As a Manager, Director, and VP, I led multi-million dollar transformations, managed teams through explosive growth, and achieved compliance records others thought impossible. I was critical to operations. Everyone knew it.

But when executives discussed “future leaders” or strategic initiatives, my name rarely came up. Despite decades of technical excellence, I’d become a ghost in my own career.

Then came the layoff during a merger, despite flawless delivery and years of dedication. That moment changed everything.

From Technical Expert to Strategic Coach

I realized the gap wasn’t in my skills. It was in how I positioned myself. Nobody teaches IT professionals how to translate technical wins into executive language. How to be strategically visible. How to advocate for advancement while maintaining integrity.

So I became certified as a life and career coach, earned credentials in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and hypnosis, and built a coaching practice specifically for IT professionals facing the same challenges I overcame.

Beyond the Resume

Growing up in Connecticut, attending school in Arizona, extensive work travel, and living in Southern California has given me perspective working with people from diverse backgrounds. I’ve held roles from restaurant server to IT Director across education, healthcare, finance, and technology in both small businesses and Fortune 500 companies.

This breadth of experience means I understand how different organizations operate, what drives advancement decisions, and how to navigate the often-unspoken rules of career progression.

But more than credentials or experience, I’m known for being caring, empathetic, non-judgmental, and genuinely invested in helping others succeed. Because that’s always been core to who I am in my family, my teams, my community, and now in my coaching practice.
